euroTRUMP

In the United States I'm not sure, but here there are just a few who doubt the populism of Donald Trump. Perhaps and maybe someone still gives him the benefit of the doubt, but he just doesn't fool anybody! He just needs to say two sentences in a row or pick up the pen to sign a stupid decree, to screw everything up. Truth be told but he's  just fulfilling what he promised. Did you vote for him? Well, now hold on... Can you? We'll see. Caution is advised!

At this point there are some issues that need a response, and these possible answers can become THE answer to give to Donald Trump. In the United States but not only...

Right away we are witnessing an overdose of news about Trump. It is starting to become hard to make the selection of what is really important. This overflow (that is nowhere soon to end), will one day make information consumers stop valuing the White House decisions. Trump will do whatever he wants and whenever he wants, and he knows that the impact will no longer be the same as he is having at the moment. It's dangerous.

The second issue concerns directly the european side of the ocean: how did this populist come to power and who paved his way? This is the most concerning issue, because in relation to Trump himself and his team, they will take care of finding a way back to where they "came from". As Montesquieu once said: “Experience constantly proves that every man who has power is impelled to abuse it; he goes on till he is pulled up by some limits.".

Here, through Europe, the alarm signals have already begun to echo. All we have to do is look at France and Hungary, and the red alert starts to twinkle. Then we add those who say that ideologies died and, if these really died, there would be no political leaders, no politics. In general, populist leaders tend to pass on the idea that "politicians are all the same" (who has never heard this phrase repeated by us citizens?) and then capture sympathy (and vote) through emotion rather than reason . This is the recipe for the "Trumps" out there.

Here is a new and serious problem: many of those in Europe today, outraged to criticize Donald Trump, are exactly the same ones who have led or defended the path the European Union has been making.
